In order to calibrate the optical systems at infrared region, we are thinking of placing a small piece (no smaller than the spot, which is 2nmx2nm) of monolayer TMD near our smaples. The role of this TMD is to generate perfect second-order harmonics as a reference.
11.3 Device-9
I first used Device-9 which has not been deposited gold contacts as a trial. I used PC to pick up a monolayer graphene and drop it besides the sample. The trick is to use the top corner region of the PC stamp to pick up the monolayer, and lift off it from 140 ℃ to around 180 ℃.
11.4 Device-8
I then used Device-8 to transfer a 2nmx2nm monolayer WSe2. The process is shown below.
